It comes from our Honduran sourcing partners since 2022, Mtn2Sea Ministries - a non-profit devoted to help small coffee farmers escape from extreme poverty. Since the first time we met them, we have been inspired by their work and courage to help and work with some of the poorest farmers we have had the joy to support. They’re so committed to having a long-term impact that they have bought a small parcel of land in Comayagua, Honduras to be able to live and work directly with the group of dozens of small family farmers, who inhabit a secluded village 5,000 ft up in the Honduran mountains - which has no power and where homes are made of mud. By championing life-changing prices for their coffees, they help the farmers earn the income that can transform their lives. Process: Washed (48 hours fermentation after pulping, washed and dried for 15 days on raised beds)
